Windows have many features and so accordingly tricks exist. The tricks that I'm going to explore in this post only work in Windows. I'm going to publish the similar post for the mac user later on as soon as possible. So, don't get disappointed. These tricks are for those who want to use different shortcuts to their works to make it efficient at different levels. So, the coolest 5 Windows tricks I'm going to share in this post for your ready guidance. So, Let's get started.

1. Hide Folders in Windows

It is always a good idea to hide sensitive information from unauthorized access. To hide the folder make a right click on the folder icon you want to hide and click on "Property".

➤ In the attributes section click on "Hidden" and then "Ok".

➤ Now your folder is hidden on the screen. If it doesn't work then make sure by going to the option "show hidden files, folders and drives" if it is unchecked.

➤ To show the folder or revert the changes- open control panel and then go to "Folder options".

➤ Click on the "view" tab to open files and folders option. In the "Hidden Files and Folders" click on "Show hidden files, folders or drives".

➤ Click on "Apply" and then click on "Ok".

2. Bypass the recycle bin

If any file is accidentally deleted, it will first go to recycle bin. If you want to bring back the file in the previous location then you have to restore it from the recycle bin. However, if you want to delete a file permanently without moving into the recycle bin then instead of pressing "Del" key press Shift+Delete (Hold the shift and press delete) to confirm whether to delete it permanently or not. Press "Enter" to delete it permanently.

➤ You can also hide the recycle bin from the desktop screen. To do this, right click on the desktop screen and click on "Personalize".

➤ On the left side of the screen click on "Change desktop icons", unchecked the recycle bin and then apply to make changes.

3. Cancel the current running program

If your computer freezes up suddenly or you're unable to close a specific program that is running on the screen or the computer is unable to restart or shutdown, in this case, you can solve this problem by going to the "task manager" and then end up the process. To go to the task manager hold Alt Ctrl and Del key together. Click on "Start task manager".

➤ After appearing the Windows Task manager dialogue box find the affected program and then select it.

➤ Finally, click on "End Task" to end up or exit the program. That's it.

Note: Any unsaved data in the program is lost if you exit the program in this manner.

4. Lock Windows instantly

Before you leave the computer for some time it is good always to lock the computer screen so that others will not be able to dive into your computer. To lock Windows press Windows logo key and L key simultaneously and within a moment the Windows will lock down. it is recommended to set a password to the computer before making a lock so that anyone couldn't open the lock without a password. To set password open control panel and go to user accounts. Click on "Create a password for your account". Type the password you want to set and then confirm it by typing it again. Type a password hint and then click on "Create password". Now lock the Windows and from the next time, you will be asked for a password to open the Windows.

5. Rotate your windows screen

You can rotate your Windows screen by pressing Ctrl, Alt and arrow key simultaneously. To rotate upside down you have to press down arrow with Ctrl and Alt key. The left and right arrow key will manage your Windows screen to 90 degrees on its sides. This trick is necessary when you rotate the monitor for some reasons or you're sitting in such a position that requires rotation of your videos.
