How To Use Android Phone Camera As Webcam For PC

Do you want to use your android phone's camera in place of webcam for PC? If yes then please follow this post and after that you will be able to do this trick very easily. If you have desktop then you might not have Wi-Fi in your system. In this case you have to use USB in place of Wi-Fi. So in this post we will go through the process of connecting android phone to your PC. So, let's get started...


At first download Droid Cam to your phone from the android play store, install and open it in your phone. Droidcam is a ip webcam app that helps you to convert your android phone camera into webcam.


➤ Download and install client software in your pc from here.
➤ Scroll down to the bottom of that page and click on Windows / Linux to download it..


➤ After downloading Double click on droidcamclient to install it.

➤ Now if you want to use via USB then at first you need to activate debugging mode in your phone.

➤ To activate debugging mode first go to 'Settings' and then 'About Device'. Scroll down to the buttom where you see 'build number'. Tap it over 7 times to enable Developer options.

➤ Tap on the 'developer options' and you will find 'USB debugging'. Turn it on.

➤ Connect the phone to the PC via USB (do not select storage mode while connecting).

➤ After opening DroidCam app in your phone you'll see ip address and port number.



➤ Choose the Wi-Fi or USB option on the DroidCam Client.
➤ Just put the ip address on the DroidCam Client from the app.
➤ Finally Click on "Start" to start your phone camera as webcam. That's it.
